Paul Jost Quartet at Rochester International Jazz Festival at The Wilder Room

Paul Jost brings his acclaimed Quartet to the Xerox Rochester Jazz Festival. All About Jazz magazine captured the appeal of the Quartet in a review: “The quartet glides effortlessly from swing to bebop…Jost’s boppish scatting bristles with the unmistakable energy of in-the-moment improvisation. Jost is an all-rounder; his gravely soul delivery can sound like a cross between singers Otis Redding and Pino Daniele, and he imbues singer John Sebastian’s ‘Daydream’ with the Delta blues.”
