Polish trio Immortal Onion (piano, bass, drums) is one of the new wave revelations in avant-garde music. Their unique sound is the result of a wide range of influences, from minimalism and fusion to progressive metal. They have been compared to the already famous GoGo Penguin in an article on NextBop, whom we have already listened to in 2017's edition of Smida Jazz.

Smida Jazz Festival is an international event dedicated to avant-garde jazz which takes place in the heart of Apuseni Natural Park, Transylvania, Romania.
