Alongside the “historical” songs, the journey is accompanied by original compositions by Mingo, inspired by the Blue Note sound with dedications to Art Blakey, Freddy Hubbard, Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass and our bluesman Pino Daniele.

Mingo has now characterized himself, in the variegated European jazz scene, as one of the best bebop guitarists in business today, with an intense and extensive record production (8 CDs to his name) and a significant presence in the jazz festival and reviews in the best jazz clubs in Italy.

His phrasing, in detached notes, is always very fluid and original, mindful of the teaching of the great jazz and therefore able to involve the listener on a journey through time of extraordinary charm.
