About
Drum legend Billy Hart played with legendary artists like Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Stan Getz and Otis Redding. The BBC calls him "one of the most thoughtful and accomplished drummers still working".
As of 2003 he bonded with younger jazz musicians to form a quartet that was named after Billy. Besides Hart, this quartet consists of saxplayer Mark Turner, pianist Ethan Iverson and bassplayer Ben Street.
They play primarily in New York, most of the time for sold-out crowds. The time has come for a tour, this is because of the release of their new album 'All Our Reasons'.
