With her own wayward compositional talents, Carley Bley has been an active figure in jazz since her youth. Carla Bley's music is easy to recognize by the way her music combines a tight musical structure, accessibility and beauty. But the other side of her music contains musical humor where she mixes other musical styles with her own music.
