In 2009 Eefje convinces the jury of the Grote Prijs van Nederland of her abilities. She gets praised for authenticity, her catchy songs and her ability to keep the attention of the audience throughout the whole show. After that she released her debutalbum ‘De Koek’. Her debutalbum ‘De Koek’ is a collection with a variation between subtle songs sung in Dutch and songs with rich and not your average arrangements. All that combined with a crystal clear voice makes for a beautiful album.
