Izaline Calister mixes the traditional music of Curaçao with jazz and Afro-Caribbean influences. Calister is a talented singer, songwriter and composer with with an unique musical style. She showed her versatility as a vocalist during collaborations with the Metropole Orchestra, New Cool Collective and Toots Thielemans. Her first solo-album was released in 1999 and since then Izaline travels the world to showcase her talent. In 2009 she won the Edison jazz and world music for her album 'Speransa'.
