Kurt Rosenwinkel New Quintet at Lantaren Venster

The last time American jazzguitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel performed at LantarenVenster was in 2010 with his Standards Trio. This time he presents his al new quartet, with whom he made the beautiful album Stars of Jupiter last year.

Rosenwinkel has been well-known by the Dutch public for over a decade. With his introvert and emotional playing he always leaves a great impression on the public. He was picked up by his mentor Gary Burton to go on tour, while still studying at Berkley College of Music. He never got his degree but established an impressive musical carreer in stead.
