Just like his father, Muddy Waters, Mud Morganfield preaches the essence of Chicago blues. the resemblance is uncanny. He has the same low and empowering sound of voice. Physically he looks like a reincarnation of his father. This didn't stop him to create his own unique style. He uses modern influences in combination of the classic blues his father used to play. He allready created an own impressive oeuvre.
Since his discovery in 2009 at the Chicago Blues Festival, he constantly plays the big bluesstages. He even played the North Sea Jazz Festival this summer.

He brings a powerful band consisting of Rick Kreher, Chris James, Patrick Rynn and Brian Fahey. And last but not least, he brings producer, radiomaker, clubowner and harmonicaplayer Bob Corritore.

Tail Dragger

The 72-year old Tail Dragger was born in Altheimer, Arkansas, but lives in Chicago since the 60's. Inspired by the raw, low voice of Howlin' Wolf, he made quiet a carreer as active bluesmen. He knows all the dirty, dark and dingy bluesclubs in Chicago, but also performs at the biggest blues festivals around the world. He is always accompanied on stage and on albums by master guitarist Rocky Johnny Burgin, as well as the same band who backs Mud.
