Reeds & Deeds is a sextet of musicians who celebrate the music of Rahsaan Roland Kirk.
These six musicians from The Netherlands and USA have their roots in the (post) Freejazz era and have played all over the world with, just to mention a few, Willem Breuker Kollektief, Mal Waldron,
Theo Loevendie, I Compani, Bik Bent Braam, and many, many others.
With a focus on the compositions of Kirk, which are mostly well known but seldom performed,
 Reeds & Deeds, named after one of Kirk's records, was founded in 2015.
