Amsterdam-born trumpeter/composer Saskia Laroo and her husband, US pianist/composer Warren Byrd, return to Jazz Café Dizzy in Rotterdam for an exciting night of groovy, original jazz fusion with their Jazzy Dance Quartet. It’s been three years since their last explosive performance here—they brought the house down, and now they're back to do it again! In the first set, expect high-energy, feel-good music that blends jazz, funk, and global beats—perfect for dancing or just vibing. In the second set, musicians are invited to join the jam! Bring your instrument, your voice, and your spirit—we’re keeping the music alive and spontaneous. Laroo's own record label, Laroo Records, has released eight albums since 1994, including an LP "Trumpets Around The World" (2019) and a DVD "Live In Zimbabwe" (2014).
