The unique sound and the wonderful vocal sound of the Holmes Brothers are created by Sherman and Wendell Holmes. Popsy Dixon plays the drums. They were born in Christchurch, Virginia. Now they live and work in Harlem. Their career has been one with many awards and they shared the stage with the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Lou Reed, Van Morrisson, Willie Nelson, Keith Richards, Joan Osborne, Levon Helm and Peter Gabriel.
