Veijse Jazz International Festival

Veijse Jazz international festival for the past 16 years has collected jazz stars from 26 countries and is now considered to be the main ethno jazz forum of the Finno-Ugric community in the Russian cultural space. Its constituent parts are the Republican and Interregional festivals Young Veijse Jazz. They’re focused on revealing and all-around support of talented children and youth, preservation of creative potentials of jazz collectives and soloists. Many outstanding jazz musicians from Estonia, Hungary and USA performed at the festival, including Jeff Hamilton Trio, Cristof Bacso Quartet, Fantine, Kadri Voorand, Villu Veski, «New Allegro», Joel Remmel Trio and others
