We end our season with legendary pianist Benny Green who returns to the Bach with a duo. Nobody plays straight-ahead modern jazz piano with more swinging joy and finesse than Green, the one-time Berkeley High wunderkind who developed his leanly lyrical and propulsive playing in the star-making bands of master musicians: Betty Carter, Art Blakey, Freddie Hubbard and Ray Brown. Green has released a string of records as well as recording with Diana Krall, Freddie Hubbard and Milt Jackson to name a few. Benny will put us all in a good mood to embrace 2021!
