Trumpeter and composer Dave Douglas is one of the most prolific and influential jazz musicians of our time. His contributions have been widely acknowledged, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, an Aaron Copland award, and two Grammy nominations, along with numerous Artist, Trumpeter, and Album of the Year awards. This New York-based quintet includes several newer jazz musicians on the scene, including DownBeat rising stars Linda Oh and John Irabagon, winner of the 2008 Monk Competition.
