"Facing East Music" draws deeply on the classical Indian training leader John Wubbenhorst has gained from his 4 decades of involvement with that art form, while playing the bansuri (North Indian bamboo flute). John's studies included decades with the great bansuri maestro Hariprasad Chaurasia as well as time at Berklee school of music (jazz studies) and 2 degrees in World music form the Rotterdam Conservatorium. John's compositions are brought to life with bass , often playing melodies in unison with John.
