Julienne Blancaflor With Skylar Tang at Broadway Grill

Julienne Blancaflor is a fifteen-year-old vocalist from the Bay Area, who currently attends Crystal Springs Uplands School. Throughout her freshman year, she has received extensive education on vocal technique from Katie Kerwin, as well as participated in a plethora of vocal showcases and theatrical productions under Westlake School of Performing Arts.

Skylar Tang is a sixteen-year-old trumpet player, pianist, and composer. As a sophomore, she has emerged as a top high school jazz musician, performing in the Monterey Jazz Festival’s Next Generation programs, the SFJAZZ High School All Stars, and the Vail Jazz Workshop. She also has gained recognition as a composer after being selected for Jazz Education Network’s Young Composer Showcase and winning the Jazz at Lincoln Center Essentially Ellington Big Band Composing and Arranging Contest. ...
