Folk-blues vocalist sings tracks from her new album, Speed Bump.
Influenced by legendary artists Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, and Randy Newman, Kennedy creates dynamic folk and blues tracks with help of producer Joel Jaffe. Kennedy notes, “The songs and production on Speed Bump are what I have always envisioned as an artist…I’m old enough to have found some style…I’m deeply interested in making music and enjoy[ing] the surprise of what I can create. And you never know, maybe other lives will be nudged by my songs.”
