About
Jorge Strunz, from Costa Rica, and Ardeshir Farah, from Iran, teamed up in 1980 and pioneered their unique, hybrid of Latin and middle-eastern guitar and helped popularize what would soon be called world music. Both highly accomplished and extremely adept guitarist’s, Strunz and Farah have brought their cultural riches to their highly virtuosic, rhythmic, original compositions. Their spectacular live performances feature melodic inventiveness and driving Afro-Latin rhythms combined with dazzling finger speed.
