Based in downtown San Jose, The Jazz Mechanics have emerged from their machine shop, crafting a new modern voice in Jazz. This hopped up trio expands the genre of improvisational music, performing largely original compositions that draw on a variety of influences including bebop jazz, R&B grooves and Balkan melodies. Laying down the foundation for the band's hard hitting force and reinventing the role of acoustic bass, is bass player and composer Endika. On keys is Brian Ho, who is also the leader of the funky Brian Ho Quartet.
