The charismatic singer, composer and lyricist toured Canada, Europe, Turkey and Japan last year. On her 2023 tour of Germany, Angela will be accompanied by celebrated New York bebop pianist Ray Gallon. Mentor to John Lewis, Hank Jones and Jaki Byard, Gallon has been a fixture on the New York scene for forty years and has played with the likes of Ron Carter, Lionel Hampton, Les Paul, Art Farmer and Benny Golson and featured artists such as Sweets Edison, Accompanied by Dizzy Gillespie, Jane Monheit, Sheila Jordan and Joe Williams.
