During his 60-year jazz career, Tito played with Oscar Peterson, Teddy Wilson (Benny Goodman's pianist), John Pizzarelli, and other jazz greats in Brazil, Europe, and the United States. He was praised in the Washington Post and the New York Times, with highly favorable photos and reviews.

He recorded 8 LPs and 5 CDs in Brazil, the United States, and Europe.

Good humor, musicality, empathy with the audience, high spirits, and freedom of individual and collective improvisation are the hallmarks of the TITO MARTINO JAZZ BAND.

The program features improvisations based on the Roots of Jazz: blues, ragtime, marches, spiritual/gospel, the Caribbean rhythm habanera, hit songs from Woody Allen films, and compositions by Tito Martino, Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington, and Louis Armstrong.
