St. Petersburg guitarist, Nate Najar has been performing holiday shows for over a decade. Tonight he shares the stage with a world class All Star jazz group of jazz musicians in a concert featuring jazz interpretations of ‘The Nutcracker’ by Tchaikovsky. “We’ll do pieces from the Duke Ellington “Nutcracker Suite” and we’ll also be swinging some of your holiday favorites and some jazz favorites,” says Nate.
Nate’s All-star group features an A-list of jazz performers including saxophonists Harry Allen, Austin Vickrey; reed players Ken Peplowski, Rodney Rojas, Jeff Rupert; trombonists Bill Allred, Marius Dicpetris, Ron Moss, trumpeters Randy Sandke, Jevon Falcon, Tom Parmeter & James Suggs, drums/vibes Chuck Redd, former Ellington bassist John Lamb, Mark Feinman, drums and Nate on guitar.
