Rochester NY native Tom Ellison is a versatile jazz woodwind player, having worked in bands led by Woody Herman, Tony Bennett and Henry Mancini. Currently he co-leads the Metro Connection band in Sarasota and plays in the Sarasota Jazz Project, the George Carroll Big Band, and Sophisticated Swing Big Band.
