No female artist better typified the singer-songwriter movement of the '70s than Joni Mitchell. Drawing from folk, pop, rock, and jazz, Mitchell's long discography often reflects social and environmental ideals as well as her feelings about romance, confusion, disillusionment, and joy. She has received many accolades, including nine Grammy Awards, and has been called "one of the greatest songwriters ever," by Rolling Stone.
Tonight, the brightest lights of the Upstate jazz scene pay homage to the great Joni Mitchell. Join Peter Davis and Don Young, Lecco Morris, George Muscatello Trio, (Shiri Zorn & Brian Melick), and the Mike Dopazo, Quartet along with host Michael Eck, for a night of classic Joni, jazz style.
