On the rise tenor saxophonist Adam Chmaj leads a quartet performing original tunes. Pianist Chris Schindele, bassist Trevor Pelletier and drummer Will Lone join the tenorist for a two set hoedown at the classic basement digs of SJF. Chmaj has a tenor sound reminiscent of traditional greats Harold Land and Johnny Griffin, with a modern, forward seeking attitude.
