Having played trumpet and guitar since childhood, Charles “Krishna” Freeman began his musical career in San Francisco, where he played flute with the Bedlam Rovers and saxophone with Jules Broussard, among many other musical engagements and collaborations. Krishna studied flute, saxophone and guitar at the San Francisco Community Music Center, City College of San Francisco and San Francisco State University before going on to study flute under the Second and First Chair flautists of the Seattle Symphony and Louisiana Philharmonic, respectively.
