The Duende Libre Trio is a dynamic, genre-bending Seattle ensemble featuring pianist Alex Chadsey, drummer and percussionist Jeff Busch, and bassist Farko Dosumov. Duende’s sound draws on eclectic influences ranging from Afro-Cuban Jazz to Brazilian Samba, American Funk, and traditional West African music. The group’s most-recent album, The Dance She Spoke, earned Duende a second Earshot Jazz award and features original interpretations of traditional music from Mali and The Republic of Guinea in West Africa.
