Electric Circus: a Message from Saturn at The Royal Room

Electric Circus remixes classic soul and rock for the 21st century with sampled grooves, improvised sonic exploration, light projections and a reinventions of mid 20th century psychedelia. For their first set this evening they will be celebrating prolific jazz composer, bandleader, piano and synthesizer player, poet and philosopher Sun Ra's 100th birthday as a visitor to this planet.

Their second set will be classic Electric Circus, improvising on riffs from James Brown, Sly and the Family Stone, Willie Dixon, Los Lobos, and more.
