Elnah Jordan a well seasoned performer and vocalist commenced her career in the streets of San Francisco. Her transition from a street performer to the clubs was expeditious to say the least. San Francisco loved her and rewarded her with a nomination and placement as 1983 Jazz Vocalist of the year.

Elnah performed the role of the legendary Bessie Smith for 2-1/2 years in “The Evolution of the Blues” written and produced by Jon Hendricks of the scat team of Lamburgh, Hendricks and Ross. Later she stared in “Street Dreams” an Off Broadway musical drama which afforded the prestigious Cabaret Gold awards for her performance. She then studied under and worked with Jules Broussard, a very well know sax player. To add to her credits, Elnah has had the honor to open for Gil Scott Heron and Bobby Blue Bland in the San Francisco Club forum....
