Greta Matassa at Bake's Place

This will be an evening of great music from Greta’s many CD’s, as well as classics from Cal Tjader and George Shearing. The band will perform new originals that include lyrical treatments of Pat Metheny’s Always and Forever and Better Day’s Ahead, as well as Henry Mancini’s Themes from Hatari. Greta’s guest for the evening will be vibraphonist Susan Pascal. The two will be accompanied by Greta’s longtime rhythm section which features Darin Clendenin on piano, Clipper Anderson on bass and Mark Ivester on drums.
