Gypsy Fire brings together the hot club music of 1930s Paris with the Great American Songbook of swing with fresh arrangements that keep toes tapping. Influenced by guitar master Django Reinhardt, the band's instrumental music invokes days gone-by that are still to be savored. And yet they keep it modern with strains of bebop.
