The award-winning NW band Global Heat performs with Grammy-nominated Jazz artist Nathan Breedlove and special guests Anil Prasad, master of Indian Tabla; multi-instrumentalist Boka Kouyate of Guinea; and Beatbox Panda, a champion of vocal percussion. The 12-member ensemble will take you on a journey from the classic Jazz Hip Hop of A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, Guru, and more; to the soulful sounds of Jill Scott and Erykah Badu; to present day fusion of Kendrick LaMar, Jon Batiste, and Global Heat originals.

• Boka Kouyate — Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from a renowned family of Mande (Guinea) griots who carry forward traditional music to future generations.
• Anil Prasad — A Tabla master and percussionist representing traditional Indian music.
• Beatbox Panda — A champion BeatBoxer with influences from American Hip Hop and culture of the Philippines and Southeast Asia. He has opened for top artists, including Snoop Dogg, Migos, Dilpo, Redman, Pentatonix, Childish Gambino, KRS-One, and more.

This live music event is Free for the Public and open to All Ages, as part of the City of Bellevue Cross-Cultural Center Without Walls.
