Early on in his life he grew up in Hawaii and California where he got most of his musical influences, mixing island style rhythm and blues with soul progression. He plays several different types of instruments mostly acoustic and electric guitar to accompany his singing. His style of performance is very diversified covering favorite popular pop songs, old school Motown and classic love songs. Also, reggae, rock n roll, to hip hop and dance.
