Trinity United Methodist’s Candlelight Concerts host Jazz vocalists Jean Lenke & her Quintet ~ Steve Kirk, Guitar, Ted Enderle, Bass, Pete Harris, Bass, & Ed Donohue, Trumpet/Flugelhorn.

Jean & her Quintet will present a beautiful selection of songs written by the late Burt Bacharach who pass earlier this month at age 95. Bacharach wrote hundreds of songs for and with other artists throughout his lifetime - working with great writers like Hal David, Carol Bayer Sager, Elvis Costello, and musicians Dionne Warwick, Neal Diamond, Herb Alpert, even Ella Fitzgerald recorded his music. The Candlelight Concert series at Trinity United Methodist Church on Thursday, February 23rd at 7:00 PM for one set with no intermission. This will be a live concert with doors opening at 6:30 PM.

The concert will also be streamed live at www.trinityumcpt.org where you will find a link for the Candlelight Concerts and ways to donate.

The concert will also be simulcast on KPTZ FM 91.9, and online at www.kptz.org/listen

Admission is free, with a suggested donation $10 per person.

Half of the proceeds from this concert will go to the bands chosen charity, Dove House, www.dovehousejc.org, whose mission is to empower victims of crime and abuse in Jefferson County through education, advocacy and crisis intervention.
Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 609 Taylor Street, across from the Community Center, in Uptown.

Attendees should plan on arriving early – doors will open at 6:30 and admittance is limited to 50 people. COVID-safe protocols will be followed at the church. Personal ID and proof of vaccination will be required for entry and masks will be mandator
