Chris Stover is back in Seattle for a week, and fresh from a tour in Brazil where he played with some of the most dynamic young musicians on the São Paulo and Rio jazz scenes. This is the premiere performance of a lineup that has been in the making for years, finally coming to fruition! Chris, Jovino, and Ben are in their third year of co-teaching an intensive workshop on the music of Brazil, Cuba, and Argentina at Cornish College of the Arts, and have developed a deep musical affinity through this and their years of playing together in a wide variety of musical contexts....
