Left On Tenth is a 5-piece indie rock band based out of Portland, Oregon. LOT has been described multiple times by many people as a genre-fluid group, with their sound dominated by the inclusion of a horn section within a rockband-style setting. Words like “skamitzvah” or descriptions of “Earth, Wind, & Fire meets The Stooges” have been happily received by the band that doesn’t define their genre as any one subset of music. With a host of interesting characters rounding out the eight piece ensemble, defining characteristics have come to encompass marginal social skills, sardonic attitudes, and questionably appropriate repartee. Paired with averagely complex chord progressions and the honest attempt at tight syncopation, JAMN has developed a presence in the Seattle music scene after last year’s recognition in Shorelake Arts Battle of the Bands, and a feature at Seattle’s largest Jam session, Mo’Jam Mondays. Their debut EP released last June. Inspired by soul, funk, R&B, and jazz, the band writes with the intention of blending these classic sounds into the modern pop atmosphere.  Listen Here
