This supergroup, packed with stars from recent Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competitions, has reenergized the Harlem scene, mixing jazz, hip-hop, and soul. Gerald Clayton, one of the most exciting of current pianists, joins bassist Ben Williams, saxophonist Logan Richardson, guitarist Matthew Stevens, and drum monster Jamire Williams, a Downbeat Rising Star. students
