Orcas Island based composer/arranger/trumpeter makes a rare appearance in Seattle, leading his newnet - a ten piece ensemble of top shelf Seattle area players. Groenewald’s arrangements have great texture and depth, as heard on his collaborative effort with Jay Thomas, I Always Knew (Origin). The lineup is impressive, to say the least.
