Ranger and the ‘Re-Arrangers’ formed in 2007, and have performed at North America’s foremost gypsy jazz festival, Djangofest Northwest.

Vanderbilt-Mathews is a Whidbey Island native who has earned several national awards, including Outstanding Soloist at the Lionel Hampton festival.

Mr. Vanderbilt-Mathews will play both clarinet and saxophone, joining the band’s regular soloists on violin and guitar. The set list will include American swing standards, traditional Gypsy melodies, and the music of Django Reinhardt.

There is no cover charge, but donations will be accepted.
