Ranger and the “Re-Arrangers” evoke the spirit of a Paris cafe and the raucous energy of a Gypsy campsite with their version of Gypsy jazz. Guest violinist Jonathan Ng has both years of classical training, and years of playing packed rock clubs. His playing is spontaneous, surprising, and heavily influenced by Stuff Smith—the hardest swinging violinist there ever was!
