The Ryan Burns Trio explores the classic piano trio format, much in the lineage of greats Ahmad Jamal, Oscar Peterson, and Bill Evans. Ryan Burns has recorded a half dozen CD’s as a leader, his trio taking on many incarnations since his debut release “That’s The Ryan Burns Trio” in 1998. A veteran of rock and jazz fusion groups, Burns often works with fretless electric bassist Steve Kim and drummer Jacques Willis.
