About
Ferguson has been earning national acclaim for decades--he won the National Flatpick Guitar Championship in 1979, toured with Mark O’Connor, and opened shows for music legends Merle Haggard, Taj Mahal, Doc Watson, and Emmylou Harris. He has also recorded music for PBS, and published lessons in Guitar Player magazine.
The set list will include American swing standards, traditional Gypsy melodies, and the music of Django Reinhardt. Violinist Ranger Sciacca will provide a counterpoint to Ferguson’s improvisations.
