Wayne Krantz, the innovative and improvisational New York guitarist, announces the first U.S. Tour in support of his tenth album, Howie 61, a striking collection that melds Krantz’s engaging group improvisation and creative compositional approaches. He has re-invented himself, yet again, with a stunningly creative recording, taking us down a new, undiscovered, musical roadway.

The tour begins on September 20th in Somerville MA, before hitting Krantz’s home town of New York on September 21st. The tour continues on through October, with more dates to be announced shortly. After the East Coast dates, Krantz will head out West, beginning with Seattle for two shows at Jazz Alley, before heading south with stops in Santa Cruz, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
