About
While they might not be household names, among musicians, Tony and Pete Levin are legends. John Lennon, Lou Reed, David Bowie and Paul Simon have all sought out Tony to play bass on their classic albums. As a member of prog-rock giants King Crimson, he’s become known as the master of the Chapman Stick -- an innovative instrument that’s something like a guitar played like a piano. His brother, Pete, is a keyboard and synth wiz who’s appeared on countless jazz and pop records, improvising with the likes of Miles Davis, Gil Evans, Charles Mingus and Wayne Shorter, to name just a few. While these two musical brothers have worked together in the past, they’re teaming up for the first time as the Levin Brothers and bringing their jazz trio (including drummer Jeff Siegel) to The Triple Door in Seattle for this concert.
