Featuring original compositions by Jovino Santos Neto, Wayne Horvitz, Jim Knapp, and Milt Kleeb, plus pieces by members of the SRJO, and the WORLD PREMIER of Bob Hammer's new 4-movement suite, "Rockland Sketches," composed in tribute to his former home in upstate New York. Also: selections from "Birth of a Band," the definitive 1959 recording by first big band Seattle's own Quincy Jones (including "Happy Faces" and "The Midnight Sun Never Sets"), and Duke Ellington's "Jack the Bear" featuring SRJO bassist Phil Sparks.
