Sligo Jazz Project

Sligo Jazz Project is an organisation set up in 2005 to promote jazz education and performance in the North West of Ireland, by hosting an annual summer school and festival each August and other events throughout the year. Jazz luminaries who have accepted invitations to hold workshops and masterclasses in Sligo include Paul Wertico, Rufus Reid, Norma Winstone and Dominique DiPiazza. The 2007 summer school event is the biggest of its kind ever held in Ireland.
