About
Oscar Rivers, Jr., is one of Charleston’s greatest artists performing Chicago & New York style Jazz. He is the quintessential representative of the Charleston-Orangeburg, South Carolina jazz connection. The Burke High School saxophone prodigy went to South Carolina State College where he built a reputation that still stands. Oscar is accompanied with Paul Gelpi on bass, Don Fields on drums. Bobbie Storm, female vocalist, will also be performing with the Oscar Rivers Jazz Quartet.
