The Festival itself opens on Friday, March 3, with a spectacular vocal show from Jazz at Lincoln Center. Called โ€œSongs We Love,โ€ the JALC program is currently being toured to 50 US cities by Joye in Aikenโ€™s Artistic Director for Jazz, Riley Mulherkar. The show features three vocalists and an all-star band, and focuses on the music of great jazz vocalists including Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland.
