The Skipp Pearson Foundation exists “to foster a greater appreciation of America's rich Jazz music heritage”. and through its signature projects and programs preserve the life and work of the founders of the art form as developed in the twentieth century. In this regard, the Foundation sees its principal role as one of “caretaker” of Jazz artists, a continuous champion of “public” music education and, advocate for music engagement for everyone.
The Foundation's primary objectives: “to preserve, to sustain and, to support the continued development of Jazz while helping to insure it's longevity for the benefit of generations to come.
